The Urban Dictionary defines the term "zaddy" as a "slang term for a really 'handsome' guy who is very appealing and looks really fashionable. He has to have swag and sex appeal and look sexy and attractive.

It is a term that "Law and Order" actor Christopher Meloni is fine with. "I've been called that a lot, and who am I to argue with it? Sure, I'm a zaddy." he says in an interview in the current issue of Interview Magazine.

The magazine punctuates his interview – a collection of observations on various topics – with Polaroid-styled photos of Meloni in tank-tops and t-shirts, some with his sleek midriff in full view.

"The 60-year-old actor shows off his eccentric style and love of fitness in the photos, emphasizing his sex-symbol persona–and it has certainly gone down a treat with fans," writes Newsweek.

Meloni recently surprised fans with his return to the long-running "Law and Order" franchise with a new offshoot "Law & Order: Organized Crime." While shooting earlier this year in Brooklyn, he went viral when a paparazzi pic of his "Gluteus maximus"went viral.

In the interview, Meloni addressed his gluteal muscles.

"This is what has happened. I've been blessed with glutes that have an attractive shape. But I have a trainer, and we're going through bodybuilding phases, and where everyone kind of caught me was that I'd been preparing for one year in a very high-intensity weight training program that actually focused on legs. So I guess you could argue that the glute-peeping public are now reaping the benefits of all that hard work."
