EDGE Rewind: Watch: Christopher Meloni Gets Buff (in the Buff!) for New Peloton Ad

EDGE is reaching into its archive and sharing some of our favorite stories from the past.

Still America's Zaddie, Christopher Meloni followed up on his recent revelation that he likes working out in the nude with an ad for Peloton in which he does just that in celebration of National Nude Day.

"Timed to National Nude Day on July 14, a seemingly naked Meloni can be seen doing an assortment of different exercises, all while covered with appropriately placed pixelation," detailed The Hollywood Reporter.

"Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange," Meloni jokes, referring to the headlines he made when he offered details about his naked exercise regimen in an interview last month.

"Honestly, I don't get it," Meloni adds, before landing on the punchline: "I don't think using the Peloton app is strange at all."

The actor says that the app "gets me motivated to do lots of different workouts, like yoga. Cardio. Mediation. And strength training."

The workout routines show Meloni in such full glory that the pixelation doesn't necessarily obscure every detail – something the actor seems to anticipate when he looks over his shoulder at the camera and asks, "You okay back there? You want me to call somebody?"

"Although Peloton is largely known for its equipment, the brand hopes to highlight the app's variety of different workout options, bike-less or pants-less," AdWeek explained, before noting that the ad features "a nod to the popular crime drama [Law & Order] with classic voice over that references the Peloton community, where 'users are represented by two separate yet equally motivated groups: those who wear pants and Christopher Meloni.'"
