The event is organized by the LGBTQ Focus Foundation with the Yale Gala as the co-host. It features dancing, an open wine and vodka bar, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction.
Entertainment includes music by DJs Susan Levine and George Marchelos, plus live entertainment from 8-9:30 p.m. by singer France Joli, and comedian Jessica Kirson.
From 6-8:30 p.m. at the Pines Club on the Great South Bay, VIP guests can enjoy a special reception with a sunset VIP cocktail party, with raw bar and hors d'oeuvres.
Guests will also have the chance to win a new Mini Cooper, to benefit the Henrik-Martin Institute, The Ali Forney Center, The Pines Foundation, and Stonewall Community Foundation. You can enter to win a new MINI Cooper by purchasing a raffle ticket either online or at the event. Raffle tickets are limited, get yours before they sell out!
The new MINI Cooper tw-door hardtop comes with a cutting edge MINI TwinPower Turbo that leverages the renowned performance engineering expertise of the BMW Group. By supplying immediate torque that holds steady throughout the engine's power curve, the MINI goes from 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, thanks to the 1.5L Inline three-cylinder engine.
A high-def screen in the center of the dash allows the MINI to integrate with all your tech needs. Bluetooth-pair your mobile device with ease, email directions straight to your optional MINI Connected system, update your Facebook and Twitter status, or just play your favorite tunes and web radio stations through a six-speaker system or available Harman/Kardon 12-speaker System. There are even apps like Google Local Search, MINIMALISM Analyzer, Mission Control, Driving Excitement and Dynamic Music.
The odds of winning this raffle are high with only 1,000 tickets being sold at $100 each.
Tickets are $125/ $250 for the VIP Reception (or two for $375). If you can't attend, consider making a donation to HMI, which not only supports our important work to create safe and supportive environments for LGBTQ youth, but also sends a clear and strong message to the young people of HMI that they are loved and valued. General donations to HMI are fully tax-deductible under the law. Don't forget to submit a Matching Gift Form to your employer to double the impact of your gift.
