Icelandair Debuts Two New Destinations

Icelandair has announced the addition of two new destinations in 2009. Stavanger, Norway, and D?sseldorf, Germany, will now be part of the network that includes over 20 destinations throughout Scandinavia, Great Britain and Continental Europe.

Stavanger is a hotbed of culture combined with foreign influences. Located on a peninsula in southwest Norway, Stavanger's city presents visitors of all kinds varied opportunities and experiences, such as visiting museums in the famous city centre or base jumping the popular Kjerag, a massive rock overlooking the fjords.

D?sseldorf, one of Germany's largest economic centres, offers cosmopolitan fashion, as well as renowned festivals and trade fairs attended by millions every year.

Scheduled flights to these destinations will operate seasonally beginning May 8 through September 29, 2009.

Icelandair offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Minneapolis/St. Paul (seasonal), Orlando Sanford (seasonal), Halifax (seasonal) and Toronto (seasonal). Connections through Icelandair's hub in Reykjavik are available to more than 20 destinations in Scandinavia, Great Britain and Continental Europe.
