Adam Lambert Is Looking Forward to Return to LGBTQ Mardi Gras in Sydney

A Queen is coming to Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras after 14 years. As reported by the Star Observer, Queen frontman is coming back to the celebration after more than a decade and he is an embodiment of the event's motto "go big or go home."

Lambert will reportedly be one of 150 performers, including Ultra Naté and "Finally" sensation CeCe Peniston. Lambert first performed at the Sydney Mardi Gras in 2010, and this year he says to "expect some unexpected surprises!"

"I'm so excited to put on a show for the LGBTQI community in Sydney. This will be a great full-circle moment," said Lambert. "Sydney's Queer community has always been so friendly! There's a real sense of family and joy that I'm so excited to experience again!"

And the men reportedly aren't bad either. About his music, Lambert said he is bringing his full self.

"It's been quite an adventure," says Lambert. "I've learned a lot about myself and about my craft. I feel like I've entered into a great headspace and have begun to create some exciting new music!"

And we can't wait to hear it. The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival kicks off Feb. 16-March 3.
