The "Old Gays" are living proof that you are never too old to make an impact on young minds.

Such was the case when the TikTok sensational foursome got the chance to meet a nonbinary young fan by the name of Evan, reported NBC News.

According to Evan's mom Erica "Eeka" McLeod, Evan became a fan of the group because she is a big fan herself. Evan, who has autism, is also a fan of the group's bold statements on gender, she explained. Evan "calls himself a 'boy-girl,'" according to McLeod, and uses both he/him and they/them pronouns.

"I'm learning from Evan," McLeod said. "I never put words in Evan's mouth. You never know who your child is going to be when they are born, but as they grow and develop, you just listen and find ways to love them, support them and encourage them."

McLeod is a single adoptive mom to three children with disabilities. She has made a point to help her children build a social media presence with hopes that their stories will help change conceptions about autism and their unconventional family, she told TODAY.com.

"Evan sees the world very differently," she said. "The autism doesn't define Evan, but it is absolutely part of who he is and part of what makes him, I believe, the charismatic individual who people fall in love with."

From the looks of the moment Bill Lyons, Robert Reeves, Jessay Martin and Michael "Mick" Peterson all got a chance to meet Evan, looks like they have fallen in love too. And they all donned dresses for the occasion.

"He was so excited to meet 'the grandpas,'" McLeod said. "Evan thinks all older people are grandpas and grandmas!"
