DC's Top Chefs and Mixologist Support LGBTQ Students at Point Foundation Event

On Thursday, September 14, at Room & Board in Washington, DC, join top chefs and mixologists when they support LGBTQ students of the Point Foundation's Cornerstone Society.

Good eating and good deeds go together! Come support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students at an exciting event featuring appetizers and craft cocktails from some of the best restaurants and mixologists in Washington, D.C.

The September 14 Point Foundation Cornerstone Society Reception helps the Foundation provide higher education scholarships, leadership development and mentorship to LGBTQ students. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and hear from Point Scholars and Alumni, as well as network with other philanthropic-minded professionals.

Restaurants, bars, and brands featured at the event include: Cafe Saint-Ex, Compass Rose, Denizens Brewing Co., Fainting Goat, Lupo Verde, Menchie's, Republic, Sierra Nevada, Slipstream, Tiger Fork, and more to be announced soon!

Standard tickets are $100, and Young Professional tickets are $50.�Tickets will also be available at the door for $125. By providing an additional donation totaling $500, attendees can receive membership in Point's Cornerstone Society, a philanthropic group of dedicated individuals that make it possible for Point to provide scholarships, mentoring, leadership training and hope well into the future.�
