Star Wars Topps Classic Sticker Book

Abrams Books has had a lot of success in releasing sentimental "Star Wars" books focusing on everything from concept art to classic comics. In the past few years their "Abrams Books for Young Readers" has offered a point of high nostalgia with three separate books encompassing every collectible baseball card from the original trilogy. These volumes were a pristine record of the past, with each card that was released lovingly reprinted along with trivia about the card sets themselves.

This time around, Abrams offers a different sort of offering with the "'STAR WARS' Topps Classic Sticker Book." Since the trilogy of collectible trading cards books included pictures of the stickers included in every pack of cards, this book actually includes the actual stickers. In this sense, it's not really a collector's book (although you could place it on your shelf as such), but instead it's like an oversized magazine with over 250 stickers to peel off and stick wherever you want.

In the '70s and '80s, collecting the stickers also included a reverse side to the card stock that became a puzzle piece of a larger scene from the films. Included in this special edition are the fully-rendered puzzles put together as posters, which you can pull out and hang on your wall.

Clearly, this collector's book is made for kids and fans longing for the days when the stickers adorned school notebooks, bed headboards, and bicycle helmets. The good thing is that pictures of the stickers are still included in the compilations. So at only $12.95, there's no excuse for "Star Wars" fans not to peel these babies off and make their fandom be known.
