Samantha Bee, Sarah Silverman at Lady Parts Justice Golden Probe Awards

On October 2, Lady Parts Justice will present their Golden Probe Awards, a satirical awards ceremony honoring "Outstanding Achievements" in sexism and anti-choice extremism in the fields of politics, media, and other industries that have made strides pushing women's rights backwards.

As "Broad City" stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer note in their YouTube category announcement, "The Golden Probes withhold announcing the nominees until the broadcast, because each day a new performance of epic douchebaggery emerges, creating an embarrassment of sexist riches to choose from."

Categories include: Best Acting Like You Care About Women in a Non-Supportive Role; Best Original Science; Best Adaptation of Reality in an Elected or Non-Elected Role; Outstanding Performance in an Unscripted Outburst; Best Newcomer And/Or Breakthrough Performance; Outstanding Writing Using Sharpie, Hobby Lobby Supplies and/or Microsoft Paint; Outstanding Underachievement By a Legislator in a Leading Role; Legislature of the Year.

This category announcement is one in a series of teasers leading up to the live webcast and follows last week's TMZ style teaser video which featured Sarah Palin's hysterical response when asked for her feelings on the show. CLICK HERE to watch.

The actual nominees will be revealed at the Golden Probe Award ceremony, held at (le) Poisson Rouge in NYC on October 2nd in front of a live audience and will be streamed via Lady Parts Justice's website. Confirmed appearances include Sarah Silverman, Samantha Bee, Jessica Williams, "Broad City"'s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, Matt McGorry, Wendy Davis, Lea Delaria, Sasheer Zamata, Phoebe Robinson, Lizz Winstead, and hosted by legendary hip hop artist and comedian Jean Grae.

In true award season fashion, the Golden Probes will present all the usual tropes -- musical performances, dance numbers, heartfelt tributes -- but with the Lady Parts Justice spin, hilariously critiquing the worst American politics has to offer.

If you are unable to attend, as of this release Lady Parts Justice is holding public watching parties in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, DC, Memphis, Portland, and Austin, adding more cities each week. LPJ is providing tools to host local house parties nationwide that rival any Oscar watch party with their downloadable party kit which includes bingo, paper dolls, drink specials and cardboard statuettes for their own nominees.

The Golden Probes, a hilarious and glamorous night of fundraising for this amazing nonprofit organization, will raise voter awareness about the politicians and policymakers dedicated to eroding access to reproductive health care before the polls open in November.

The event will be held from 8-10 p.m. on Sunday, October 2 at Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, New York. For tickets or information, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-golden-probe-awards-tickets-26546160280
