Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction This Sunday

Broadway enthusiasts and stars alike will flock to New York City's famed theatre district this Sunday, September 25, 2016, for the 30th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction (#broadwayflea), produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The biggest day of the year for Broadway fans celebrates all things theatre with offerings of unique Broadway treasures, unforgettable theatrical experiences and more than 70 stars from your favorite Broadway shows. Discover everything you love about Broadway all in one place at the all-day outdoor market. The Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction will take place from 10 AM to 7 PM in Shubert Alley, and along West 44th and West 45th Streets. It's free and open to the public.

Pre-bidding is currently available at broadwaycares.org on more than 200 live and silent auction lots until 4 pm Eastern on Friday, September 23. Then, at Sunday's event, silent auction items will be open for bidding every half hour beginning at 10 am. At 5 pm, join in the thrill of the live auction in the heart of Shubert Alley. Among the lots up for bid are:

    Charismatic Broadway and TV star Bryan Batt will return as host of the live auction, joined by esteemed auctioneer and Grand Auction first-timer Nick Nicholson. Nicholson follows in the footsteps of the unforgettable Lorna Kelly, Broadway Cares' legendary longtime auctioneer who passed away this summer. Auction favorites Jennifer Cody and Michael Goddard will return to co-host the silent auction.

    More than 70 of your favorite stars of stage and television are scheduled to appear at the Autograph Table and Photo Booth. Each hour, beginning at 11 AM, a new lineup of theatre royalty will fill the deck of Junior's restaurant, next to Shubert Alley at West 45th Street. Fans can get autographs or take photos with their favorite stars in exchange for a donation to Broadway Cares.

    Just announced additions to the autograph table: Broadway veterans Reeve Carney and Ben Vereen, teen sensation Victoria Justice and heartthrob Ryan McCartan, who all star in this October's Fox TV adaptation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again.

    Also just added to the Autograph Table and Photo Booth are James Barbour, Bryan Batt, Will Chase, John Glover, Mandy Gonzalez, Jessica Hecht, Javier Mu�oz, Bebe Neuwirth, and Amy Spanger.

    Last year, the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction raised $756,655, bringing the event's 29-year total to more than $11.5 million.
