Looking for love? You may find it on this new website!

It seems like only yesterday that the dating website LGBTQutie.com was launched. It was indeed rather recently, only in November 2013, but since then the site has enjoyed widespread success after a well-received nationwide launch, which has earned them a number of profiles on the main website. Barely six months old, the LGBTQutie team was present at the Gay Days Expo in Orlando, and was one of the event sponsors of the entire Gay Days Weekend.

The success of the website can be attributed to two things: First, that the website focuses on love connections, not hook-ups; and second, that the growth of this innovative startup has been nurtured by the young entrepreneurs Jordan Weiss and Rachel Kimelman.

I talked briefly with Rachel Kimelman about LGBTQutie, what makes the website unique in the online dating landscape, and why people should give it a try.

What sets you apart from other LGBTQ dating websites?

LGBTQutie.com stands out among other dating sites because we are the only site that is relationship-oriented and all-inclusive of the entire LGBTQ community. LGBTQutie.com is a multi-faceted dating and social networking platform. Our site allows for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, pansexual, asexual, intersex and non-binary individuals to form romantic relationships and/or make new friends. Another added bonus of LGBTQutie.com is that it is free to join!

What would you say to people who are tired of online dating, to get them to try LGBTQutie?

"Don't throw in the towel and give up on love just yet!" Some people may see online dating as taboo, but it is the wave of the future and has become more mainstream. It allows you to meet people you may have never otherwise met. For the LGBTQ community in particular, not everyone has a sign on their forehead stating their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. When you come to LGBTQutie.com, it is quite clear what people are looking for. We also tell people that "it only takes one" chance to find love.

How many success stories have you had? Have you heard any, and which one inspired you the most?

We've had quite a few. But one that particularly jumps out at us was at this past New York City Pride. We had a person from the website come up to us on the street and they told us how much they loved the site. There was also a lesbian couple who sent us an email saying how happy they were that they met on our site. It is very touching for us to see such positive responses from our members.
