Media Report that Schwarzenegger's "Pothole" Was Actually Service Trench for Gas Company

Media reports have stated that the "giant pothole" filled in by Arnold Schwarzenegger outside his Los Angeles home was actually a "service trench" for a gas company.

On 11 April, the former governor shared a video of himself on Twitter filling in what he described as a "giant pothole that's been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks." He continued, "I went out with my team and fixed it. I always say, let's not complain, let's do something about it. Here you go."

However, a spokesperson for the City of Los Angeles reportedly told NBC Los Angeles, "This is not a pothole. It's a service trench that relates to active, permitted work being performed at the location by SoCalGas, who expects the work to be completed by the end of May."
