Tune In :: 3 New Club Anthems Mix It Up!

JC Alvarez READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Nightcrawlers everywhere are looking for a reason to marry the night but if you're not yet committed to Lady Gaga's latest tripped-out rock-laden hit single, fear not; remixers have already been enlisted to turn the tune into a crowd-pleasing club-thumper. VicTim Music's Tim Letteer is ahead of everyone and has produced a wildly energetic remix worthy of Mother Monster. Letteer's long-time associate and club icon Junior Vasquez would be proud of the production's after hours potential (I'll leave it up to you nimble-fingers internet junkies to hunt down the track online).

Fortunately, the club scene is far from lacking in high-energy, extended 12" version club tracks that work beyond the confines of a sweat fest at Barry's Boot Camp and the cardio room. These tracks have all the makings of modern dance anthems:

The posh and ultra-sexy Erika Jayne delivers with her latest "Party People (Ignite the World)". Never to shy away from controversy with her sexually-charged lyrical content or starlet-goes-tartlet image, Jayne has adapted the currently popularized auto-tuned trend and applied it to her vocals on this club-ready track. Many artists have turned to the electro-styling of this technology to affect their vocals and push the often synth-sounds of production into overdrive.

On "Party People", it works with a magnificent brilliance to disguise Jayne's vocal acrobatics only enough to prove effective nonetheless. Ready to ignite the dance floor, Erika Jayne's "Party People" is a party-pleaser.

Crazy In Love...With This Remix

Looking to mark her own territory is emerging club-menace, and fan boy fantasy-in-making Guinevere. Her debut single appropriately entitled "Crazy Crazy" is a romper-stomper rump-shaking feast for the senses. It is produced by Cirkut invoking a familiarity of hybrid hits featuring Ke$ha, Jessie J thrown in with a dash of Britney Spears - but the track's signature defiance and raw muscle is all Guinevere.

Her cool, yet unpolished vocals are expertly woven within the remix rhythms of master remixers Dave Aud and DJ Escape with Tony Coluccio who take the track to inspiring new heights for this rising artist. Guinevere is one Toronto export to watch - keep all other extremities moving to the beat. This bitch is crazy squared!

Then there's the long-awaited release from dance diva Deborah Cox who has been teasing the club circuit scene all season long with the new single "If It Wasn't For Love". The track has been generating such brilliant momentum it even enticed superstar DJ/remix producer Tracy Young to get back into the studio. Tracy confidently suggested her remix of Cox's new hit, "is perhaps my best work yet." Remarkably, it also marked the first time the two have joined forces for a club project. To celebrate, Cox has agreed to perform live at Tracy Young's upcoming New Year's Day celebration "Genesis" in Miami Beach. If that's not enough to get you to ring in the New Year, sit tight - 2011 may be wrapping up, but the music plays continuously.

Erika Jayne's "Party People (Ignite the World)" and its remixes are available for download on most digital markets. Guinevere's "Crazy Crazy" single is also on sale with the remixes making the club the scene and in good company...stay tuned for the release of Deborah Cox's "If It Wasn't For Love" featuring remixes by Tracy Young and Razor N Guido.
