ARTrageous Glamorama Comes to San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Macy's Passport Presents Glamorama 2011 comes to LA on Friday, September 23, 2011 - and then to San Francisco on Friday, September 30, at 8:00 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre.

This year's event benefits AIDS Emergency Fund, Glide Foundation and Project Open Hand.

In San Francisco, this year's show - themed ARTrageous - brings fall fashion from featured designers including Armani Jeans, Bar III, Calvin Klein, Papi, Rachel Rachel Roy,Tommy Girl, Kenneth Cole and Tracy Reese.

Additionally, Macy's is honored to present a special tribute celebrating the life and work of Passport's Founding Chair, the legendary actress and AIDS activist, Dame Elizabeth Taylor. The excitement of the evening will continue with a fashionable and over-the-top "ARTlandish" after-party at The Asian Art Museum with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres by Taste Catering, DJ, dancing and much more!

Plus performances by Bruno Mars and Far East Movement. 100% of ticket sales proceeds will benefit the AIDS Emergency Fund, Project Open Hand & the Glide Foundation-organizations dedicated to helping San Francisco residents infected with and affected by HIV and AIDS.

Meanwhile in Los Angeles, the week before, the multitalented singer, songwriter, producer and musician, Cee Lo Green, known for his most recent chart-topping hit "Forget You" as well as co-writing and singing Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy," will headline the 29th annual Macy's Passport Presents Glamorama 2011 set at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m..

Cee Lo Green debuted his first album earlier this year, entitled "Lady Killa," and also stars as a judge on the NBC hit series, "The Voice."

Also set to perform at Macy's Glamorama in Los Angeles this year is electro-pop quartet Far East Movement who shot to fame with chart-topping singles, "Like a G6" and "Rocketeer" from their debut album, entitled "Free Wired." The group's latest single, "If I Was You," features rap artist Snoop Dogg.

The show will be hosted by Pauley Perrette. There will also be special guest appearances by Magic Johnson and Sharon Stone who will be introducing a Tribute to Dame Elizabeth Taylor.

This year's show, also called ARTrageous, will bring fashion and entertainment together for one unforgettable night. Topping the list of featured designers: Armani Jeans, Bar III, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse, Papi, Tommy Hilfiger, Tracy Reese and more!

The evening concludes with an over-the-top "artlandish" post-party at CalMart in Downtown Los Angeles. The event will once again benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles and Project Angel Food.
