Watch: Madonna Canceled Another 'Madam X' Concert for Health Reasons
Madonna is cancelling another concert from her "Madame X" tour for medical reasons, following her decision to nix a Boston show back in November.
The pop icon was supposed to perform in Lisbon, Portugal Sunday night but took to social media to alert fans that, due to an illness, the concert was canceled. CNN reports that fans were already at the venue when Madonna revealed she that the show was off.
"Sorry I had to cancel tonight," Madonna, 61, wrote on an Instagram post that features a video of her show. "But I must listen to my body and rest!! That white Port got me through the rest of the show! See you on Tuesday fingers crossed."
Madonna is set to return to the same venue, the Coliseum theater, on Tuesday and Wednesday. She'll also be performing Thursday at the London Palladium.
CNN reports Madonna shared a video last week that shows the singer wearing knee supports while rehearsing for her show.
"How an injured Madame X warms up for a show," she wrote in the caption. "Very carefully."
Madonna has not revealed what she is suffering from.
This isn't the first time she canceled a show on her "Madam X" tour. Besides Boston in November, she previously nixed dates in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and Paris, citing issues, injuries and scheduling problems, CNN notes.
