Kataluna Enriquez is an LGBTQ queen with a crown after beating out 21 other contestants last weekend to win Miss Nevada USA. The 27-year-old winner is the first transgender woman in history to take home the crown, People reported.

"Ahead of Sunday's competition, which was held at South Point Hotel Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, Enriquez won the Miss Silver State USA pageant, according to her Instagram," People reports. "She will now compete for the Miss USA title in November."

Enriquez celebrated her victory in a heartfelt instagram post thanking everyone who has supported her on her way to the top.

"Huge thank you to everyone who supported me from day one. My community, you are always in my heart. My win is our win. We just made history. Happy pride," she captioned a photo with several rainbow hearts.

Enriquez's pride was on full display in a rainbow dress she made herself for the competition from her KatalunaKouture clothing line.

"In honor of pride month, and all of those who don't get a chance to spread their colors. ??????????????????" she wrote of the custom dress, in an Instagram post.

From a short bio on Miss Silver State USA's Instagram page, Enriquez shares that they have fought "multiple challenges" in life, but "now she uses her life experiences and shares it in her platform #BEVISIBLE, a campaign to combat hate through vulnerability."

"As a survivor of physical and sexual abuse and a proud Transwoman of color, she aims to break barriers and represent those who aren't always represented and continues to support numerous non-profit organizations and LGBTQ+ youth," the post reads.

Congratulations, Miss Nevada USA!
