Randy Rainbow's Old Racist, Transphobic Tweets Resurface

Randy Rainbow, a political satirist and singer who rose to fame on the Internet with his viral YouTube videos, is coming under fire on Twitter this week after several racist and transphobic tweets made as far back as 2010 have resurfaced.

The Daily Dot points out that the Twitter user @spookperson shared a screenshot of a few of Randy's tweets on August 17. The tweets, which were made in 2010, see the comedian using a transphobic slur while attempting to make jokes.


Twitter user @robbedsettos also rounded over 50 tweets made by Randy. Randy's tweets have since been deleted. View screenshots @robbedsettos is has shared.

Randy, who recently announced he has a memoir coming in 2021, has yet to comment on his resurfaced tweets. The Daily Dot reached out for a comment from Randy, but as of this writing, the performer has not responded to the outlet. Nevertheless, a number of Twitter users reacted to the tweets.
