Watch: Turning 42, Luke Evans Shares Buff Thirst Trap as He Returns to his London Gym
Luke Evans turned 42 on April 15 and shared a post on Instagram in which he sported a salt-and-pepper mustache and beard while spinning in a make-up chair on the set of a new project with birthday greetings visible on the walls. "Starting my birthday with happy positive energy!!! This is the Makeup trailer of LOVE ??????."
He is also, if you a glance at his account, the actor with more thirst traps than any other, straight or gay, and in-and-out of the closet. For the record, Evans came out for nearly 20 years since he performed in West End musicals. Since then he has achieved the status of being the highest status LGBTQ actor in the business, proving that being out is not a great hindrance to success.
He is also has become more and more buff having spent the pandemic "upping the intensity of his workout and getting back into amazing shape as he prepares to return to a busy working schedule," wrote Men's Health this week.
He shared a picture this week of him getting back to the City Athletic gym in London, and celebrated this week's return to semi-normal by taking a photo with his pal, trainer and City Athletic founder Shaun Stafford.
"Two buddies who are happy to be back training at the gym!!!" He wrote in the caption, referring to the U.K.'s easing of Covid restrictions on April 12, which has seen gyms and fitness centers open their doors for the first time in 2021.
"I have some cheese that needs grating," quipped trans actor Zoe Terakes, who co-stars with Evans in the upcoming Hulu series "Nine Perfect Strangers," based on a novel by Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty.
Last February Evans shared an IG that showed his physical transformation over the pandemic with the words "8 months of work but I got there. June 2020 - February 2021," the Welsh actor captioned the post." He added: "I won't bother putting statistics as the judges will only judge. #fbf#nearly42." He followed with some emojis, including an arm-flexing.
And that transformation was on display last weekend when he shared a hot pic that led actress Octavia Spencer to comment, "Baaabbbyy"!
