Daggers Are Back with Drag Extravaganza, 'The Phantom of the Disco'

Tuesday Jan 9, 2018

Love is Dead, but Disco Never Dies!

Heart and Daggers Productions (aka The Daggers) are back with their fourth installment of the Drag Musical Extravaganzas: "The Phantom of the Disco" at Club Café for eight performances throughout February and early March.

Elizabeth Battey, everyone's favorite cat-lovin', Pinot Grigio-drinkin', absent-minded narrator, graces the stage once more to give you the greatest love story ever told. But she's in big trouble: Christine Daae has died and is buried in the back of the discotheque. All Battey is left with is a mannequin dressed as Sarah Brightman and hopes that you, the faithful audience, will sing that famous soprano's part!

All drag, part sing-a-long, with a mix of Donna Summers and Bee Gees, and Neon Calypso in rollerskates, "The Phantom of the Disco" promises to be "Hot Stuff."

Heart & Dagger Productions celebrates their 8th Season with "The Phantom of the Disco" and later in the season, "Still Now" by Katie Bender.

The production is directed by Melissa Barker, with musical direction by James Sims and narration and conception by Joey C. Pelletier. It will be staged in Club Cafe's Moonshine Room. Audience members receive 20% discount on food.

There will be 8 performances that will take place on February 1, 2, 6, 9, 13, 14 (Valentine's Day), 27 and March 2. All performances are at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The running time is 90 minutes.

Please note: food and drinks will be served before and during performance but are NOT included in the ticket price.
