The second season of "Pose" just got a dose of star power.

Deadline is reporting Broadway legend Patti LuPone is set to join the cast of the groundbreaking FX show. The reveal came during PaleyFest over the weekend where co-creator Ryan Murphy told "Pose" star Mj Rodriguez, a Broadway stan, she'll be sharing scenes with yet another Broadway legend (not counting Billy Porter, of course!).

LuPone, who has appeared in a handful of prestige TV shows such as HBO's "Girls" and Showtime's "Penny Dreadful," will have a guest star role, according to Deadline. Details about her part have not been revealed, but Murphy did say that "Pose" Season 2 will have a big time jump, going from the '80s to '90s. He said the first episode will take place the day Madonna dropped "Vogue."

Murphy also said that trans activist Janet Mock, Our Lady J, and Porter will direct all the episodes in Season 2, adding that they start shooting the new season next week and that "Pose" will return to TV in June.

"It's a first in so many ways and broken so many rules," Murphy said, according to Deadline. "It's extraordinary... it's getting bigger and bigger."
