"Queer Eye" star Karamo Brown is shutting down those who are taking issue with President Donald Trump's former press secretary Sean Spicer being cast on "Dancing with the Stars."

ABC revealed the cast Wednesday for the newest season of the dancing competition show, which also includes actor James Van Der Berk, model Christie Brinkley, "The Bachelorette" star Hannah Brown, pop star Ally Brooke, NBA star Lamar Odom, "The Office" actor Kate Flannery, country singer Lauren Alaina and NFL legend Ray Lewis.

But its the news that Spicer will appear on "DWTS" that has people talking and some people took issue with Brown, who is openly gay, for not voicing his opposition to face off against Spicer on the show. Brown even said that he's looking forward to having "respectful conversations" with him.

Taking to Twitter, Brown responded to someone who said they were "disappointed" with the Fab Five member for "lending his celebrity to this," People magazine points out.

"First, I have no say who is on the cast and didn't find out till this morning that he is on! But I'll tell you this... I'm excited to sit down w/ him and engage in respectful conversations," he wrote. "Only way things get better is if we try to educate those who have different POV than us."

Others took issue with Brown for calling Spicer "a good guy" and a "really sweet guy" when he spoke with "Access Hollywood" about the cast.

Later, in another tweet (which has since been deleted) responding to a critic, Brown wrote:

"I honestly can't stand people like you who post things like this and you reposted some bs about a comment Jonathan [Van Ness] said... just to flame the fire and get a reaction," he said. People notes Brown was referencing his "Queer Eye" costar's comment about Mitt Romney. "We fight harder than your ass ever has for people of color and members of the LGBTQIA community."
