Piers Morgan Accuses Omarosa of Using Gay Slurs, Offering Him Sex During 'Apprentice'

Wednesday Feb 14, 2018

Fresh off his outrage over a cartoon that he deemed "homophobic," Piers Morgan is making headlines this week for a piece published in The Daily Mail Tuesday in which he accuses Omarosa Manigault Newman of propositioning him for sex to win "Celebrity Apprentice" and then allegedly using gay slurs against him.

He writes that after refusing her alleged offer for a "showmance" when competing together on the "Apprentice" in 2008 - which was hosted by Donald Trump at the time - Omarosa allegedly taunted him with slurs, allegedly asking him, "How are your kids going to feel when they wake up and discover their dad's a fucking faggot?"

"Omarosa sidled up to me at the New York Mercantile Exchange and said, quite seriously: 'Piers, do you want a showmance?' 'A what?' I replied. 'A showmance. You know, a romance on the show - we get it on together. Happens all the time on Apprentice. Everyone has sex together. Then we can make lots of money out of it,'" Morgan wrote. "I stared at her grasping, ferociously ambitious little eyes, and laughed: 'You must be joking, you deluded woman.' She didn't take it well. 'What are you? Gay?'"

He adds that Omarosa then "turned on me like a viper."

"I can honestly say I've never been spoken to in my life like the disgusting, foul-mouthed, homophobic way Omarosa spat at me throughout the weeks of filming," Morgan, who went on to win that season of "Celebrity Apprentice," wrote in The Daily Mail.

The businessman, who calls Omarosa "relentlessly loathsome," then questions why President Donald Trump hired "this serial loser, and horrible human being, into the heart of the White House to spread her poison."

Morgan goes on to say in his piece that Omarosa took her comments into the boardroom with Trump, allegedly telling the then-host, "I think Piers is in the closet."

"I'm not gay and she hadn't heard that about me," he wrote. "She'd just made it up to smear me and to provoke me into a confrontation."

People magazine said it reached out to Omarosa's representatives for a comment but they have not responded.

Omarosa, who was a White House aide for the Trump administration until unceremoniously leaving in December, is currently on "Celebrity Big Brother" where she is cut off from the outside world and cannot respond to Morgan's allegations. She's been making headlines of her own lately, speaking out against President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, who she called "scary."

Morgan made international headlines earlier this month when he took issue with the BBC airing a crude drawing that shows a caricature of Morgan with his nose up President Trump's butt. Morgan called the picture "homophobic" and went on a Twitter rant for days over the image.
