JM's "Standing O! at Cela's Italian restaurant will welcome Maggie as she performs her extraordinary cabaret concert "Carol Channeling Caroling" at 8:00 on Friday evening and 7:30 & 9:30 on Saturday evening. It's one big number after the next and a great night for musical theater buffs." ~ Currents Magazine "What Christmas Means To Me staring Carol Channeling Caroling" is the title of an Ms Graham's upcoming solo Christmas performance at JM's Standing O! , The intimate cabaret located within the new Italian restaurant in Quincy Center called Cela's. Written and performed by Maggie Graham, the holiday performances will feature musical direction by Christynn Cardino. During the evening Graham - a long-time fan of Carol Channing - will evoke the sounds of Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Patti LuPone, Ethel Merman, Doris Day, Julie Andrews, Bernadette Peters, Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel and Barbra Streisand. Surprise guests may stop by including Maggie's old friend Mr. Chuck Sweeny from NYC who will play his award winning portrayal of the legendary Ms. Peggy Lee! Maggie Graham has appeared in productions of Hair, Evita, Urinetown, The Who's Tommy and Sweeney Todd. She also voiced the characters of Bunny Von Schnickle and Sonya on MTV's "Spy Groove." This past June Maggie was featured as Carol, Patti, Bernadette and Kristin in The War of The Mama Roses Starring Steven Brinberg's "Simply Barbra", Rick Skye's "Slice O' Minelli" Chuck Sweeney's "Miss Peggy Lee" & Marian Steiner Ethel Merman with special guest Scott Nevins as The Director JM Productions is tremendously pleased to present Broadway, LA & Boston performers who are scheduled to appear in our new fall and winter season at our new venue for 3 cabaret shows per weekend November through February of 2009! On January 16 & 17, 2009 a founding member of the Grammy award winning "Manhattan Transfer", Ms. Laurel Masse will join us in Quincy with her amazing one women show. On January 23 & 24 celebrity Bill Champitto and his band of Soulful, Funk, Jazz and Latin Standards will cover artists such as Harry Connick, Michael Buble, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Ray Charles, Sinatra, Van Morrison, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and many others! Rounding out the January calendar we have Allan Palmer's One Man show "Fabulous Divas" where he plays 18 Women in 25 Songs, Direct from LA on January 30 & 31st. Finally, in February JM Productions is proud to present "Snapshots of a Superwomen...A musical revue by five local women, for grandma, mom, sis, daughter, wife, best friend and you on Feb 6 & 7th. The amazing Broadway legend, Ms. Karen Mason will star in "Right Here, Right Now" direct from her triumphant run on Broadway in "Hairspray on February 20 & 21st.
