Tim Twilligear told CBS 4 that he got into a heated argument the night of July 25 with one of the stripclub employees as he was exiting the venue. When the confrontation got physical, police intervened, using a taser to control the man.

Despite the electric shock, the affidavit of arrest shows that Twilligear was still able to get to his car and tried to leave the premises, when he couldn't he "exited the vehicle walking toward officers with his hands balled up."

But that's not what Twillingear remembers. He says that when he tried to leave, the police officers smashed his car windows and viciously beat him.

"I was just screaming, 'Why are you beating me?' And then he'd say 'Stop resisting' and he'd hit me again," Twilligear told CBS 4.

The beating was captured on cellphone video by one of Twiligear's friends, identified as "Victor." The video shows a man wearing a police uniform striking another man on the ground.

Twilligear was charged with resisting arrest, both with and without violence, and two counts of simple battery. His lawyer, Michael Grieco, filed the complaint on July 29.

"I'm livid over it," Grieco said. "I'm going to do everything in my power to protect my client to make sure justice is served."
